24 photographs of things that start with P with lots of sensory ideas attached to the notes page for all sensory learners; EYFS, SLD, PMLD across all key stages: KS1 KS2 KS3 KS4. Mainly nouns but also some adjectives and verbs. Used successfully over a half term period, focusing on a few each time. Also consider adding verbs including pluck, pull, push. The slide show is by no means exhaustive, you may also have children or staff in the class or at school whose name begins with that letter. This slide show can be edited and changed to fit your student’s learning needs. We often ended with a phonics song from Storybots on YouTube; it is quite fast paced; go to settings and slow down the speed to 0.75 and it works fine.

A very simple retelling of the story, with added sound effects. Each page has one line of text and sound effects when possible. Sound effects include a stag for a dinosaur, and a frog croaking for the pond scene. There are a couple of embedded YouTube links for the sisters flute playing and a tap dancing video clip to end. Sound effects are all set to start when the sound icon is clicked on and will loop until you move to the next slide. You can change these in the playback settings. Sound clips were found on the sound bible website, a great site for free sound downloads. :)
